Talking Chat Bot ("the app") is a text-based chat app that helps you practice interview prep, conversation starters, dating tips, and casual conversation with an AI assistant.
When you first open the app, we ask for your name and age, and we generate a random device identifier stored on your device (not tied to your phone number, IMEI, or any hardware identifier — it's a random ID we create, similar to a login-free account). We do not collect your email, exact location, or require a password.
The messages you send are stored against that device identifier so your coach has conversation context, and are forwarded to OpenAI's API to generate a reply.
Your name, age, device identifier, and chat messages are stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) so that conversations can continue across sessions and your coach can personalize its responses. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. OpenAI processes messages per its own privacy policy.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us with your device identifier (visible in the app) or by clearing your browser/app storage, which starts a new, unlinked identifier going forward.
This app sends chat messages to OpenAI, L.L.C. to generate responses, and stores app data with Supabase, Inc. as our database provider. No other third parties receive your chat content.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
